Back in May, we partnered with Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City to host a KC Heart design contest for Junior Achievement students. After narrowing down the vote to five amazing designs, this design created by 12-year-old Kynslee S was chosen as the winner! Kysnlee says "My t-shirt design is all about spreading love for Kansas City. The heart shape is like a giant hug for our awesome city! One side of the heart is all bright and sunny, with the ‘K' shining bright. It's like the happy, bustling vibe of our city during the day. Then, on the other side, it's all cozy and calm, with the ‘C' nestled in there. It's like the peaceful vibe of Kansas City at night, when everything slows down and it's just so chill. So my t-shirt design is like a big, warm hug for Kansas City, showing how much we love it no matter what time of day it is."
