This shirt is inspired by an antique quilt, circa 1880s-1890s, which was lined with a calico in this pattern. Calico fabrics were a staple in American clothing and craft for centuries—in fact, some historians refer to a "Calico Craze" to best describe the demand for the fabric throughout the 19th century. We have reproduced the original fabric, with its serpentine dot pattern, for this style.
